Requirements of the Knight Hennessy Scholars Program
1. International applicants are encouraged to apply to be Knight-Hennessy Scholars, according to the organizers. Given that we anticipate Knight-Hennessy Scholars to have a worldwide impact, that makes sense.
2. Did you complete your education at a non-US institution? The equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university of recognized standing is required to be eligible for graduate studies.
3. Any full-time graduate degree program at Stanford, including but not limited to DFA, Eng, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MS, or PhD, as well as any joint or dual graduate degree options that Stanford offers (such as MD+PhD, JD+MA, MBA+MS) are eligible for your application to the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program.
4. To enroll in 2025, you must also have received your bachelor’s degree by January 2016 or later.
Eligibility Criteria
1. The award is open to graduates of any nationality, ethnicity, gender, or age.
2. The applicant must be enrolled and accepted full-time in a Stanford graduate degree program to be eligible for the grant.
3. The candidate must have just started their graduate program.
4. The candidate’s bachelor’s degree must have been awarded by January 2018 or later.
5. Active or retired members of the US military must apply; their degrees must have been earned by January 2015 or later.
6. The applicant must fulfill these three conditions: 1) Mental autonomy 2) Purposeful leadership The Civic Mentality.
7. The TOEFL is accepted for all Stanford graduate programs. However, the MBA program also accepts PTE and IELTS scores.

How to Apply
1. The applicants must submit separate applications for the graduate degree program at Stanford University and the scholarship.
2. The applicant must specify which Stanford degree program they intend to apply to on the scholarship application.
3. The Knight-Hennessy Scholarship application must be completed online.
4. The online application must be used to submit the application materials in English.
5. When applying, it is advised that the candidate use a more advanced version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
