Applications for the Korea Government UNIST Scholarship for 2025 are being accepted from overseas students by the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology.

Together with KAIST, GIST, and DGIST, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, Korea Government is one of the four national universities in South Korea devoted to research in these areas.

Applications for Spring 2025 Graduate Admissions at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) are open to applicants from abroad.

The Master’s and Doctoral programs offered by the Institute are extensive. The UNIST Scholarship Program is available to applicants who want to pursue graduate degrees, such as master’s or doctorates.

In addition to paying tuition, they give a $15,240 stipend per academic year.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the UNIST Scholarships, you must:

  • Be a foreign student, someone who is not Korean.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
  • Fulfill the requirements for admission to the graduate program of your choice at UNIST.
  • Fulfill the prerequisites in English language for UNIST entrance.
  • Apply as soon as possible and send in the necessary paperwork.

Candidates must be prepared to submit the following paperwork in order to apply:

  • Application Form (after submitting the online form, print it off).
  • Bachelor’s degree transcripts (transfer students need to send in their transcripts before they can transfer).
  • Four Master’s degree transcripts (for PhD candidates).
  • Diploma (certificate) for a master’s or bachelor’s degree.
  • Plan of Study and Self-Report.
  • Report about the English Test.
  • Letter of Recommendation from Other Sources (Organization, College, etc.).
  • Employment Certificate.
