CPU Scholarship by the Chinese Government
Academically exceptional individuals can pursue master’s or doctoral degrees with extensive benefits through China Pharmaceutical University’s (CPU) Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), a high-level postgraduate fully financed scholarship program for 2025–2026.
The Ministry of Education, P.R.C., established the Chinese Government Scholarship-High-level Postgraduate Program as a full scholarship to assist selected Chinese universities in enrolling exceptional overseas students for postgraduate study in China.
For the program, the China Pharmaceutical University CSC Scholarship pays for full candidates’ tuition, housing, health insurance, and a ¥3500 monthly stipend.

Eligibility Criteria for the CPU Scholarship
1. You must be a citizen of a nation other than the PRC and in good physical and mental health to be eligible for the China Pharmaceutical University CSC Scholarship.
2. When applying for a master’s program, you must be under 35 and an academically strong bachelor’s degree holder.
3. When applying to a PhD program, you must be under 40 years old and a master’s degree holder with a stellar academic record.

4. Possess the HSK (Level 4) before applying to a postgraduate program taught in Chinese;
5. Possess a TOEFL score of 90 or an IELTS score of 6.5 when applying to a postgraduate program taught in English (for non-native English speakers);
6. Fulfil the academic requirements and other pertinent requirements set forth by the university for admission.
Application Documents
Candidates must be prepared to submit the following paperwork to apply:
- A copy of the passport home page application form.
- The highest degree was notarized.
- Academic records (beginning with the undergraduate program).
- Certificates of language proficiency.
- A suggestion for a study plan.
- Letters of recommendation.
- An English-language photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
- Report on non-criminal records.

How to Apply
Interested and eligible applicants for the 2025 China Pharmaceutical University Scholarship should:
1. To access the program’s webpage, click the button below.
2. Between November 15, 2024, and February 20, 2025, candidates should fill out an online application on the CPU Application Platform and upload the application materials indicated below.
3. The applicant’s email will receive the interview schedule. Kindly check your email promptly. Candidates are considered to have forfeited their application if they do not show up for the interview.
4. Applicants who pass the CPU interview will receive a pre-acceptance letter from CPU.
5. The pre-acceptance letter and other application materials must be sent to the CSC Application Platform by applicants.
6. To submit their scholarship application, students who have been nominated for the Chinese Government Scholarship-High-level Postgraduate Program must log in to the CSC application platform within the allotted period.
7. China Pharmaceutical University’s Agency Number is 10316; applicants who pass the CPU preliminary evaluation will have their documents sent to CSC while they await the final admissions findings.
The admission outcome will be formally announced by CPU by email or on the website.
