Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

• Give the DevOps team strong leadership while cultivating a high-performing and cooperative culture.
• To assist the team succeed, clearly define expectations for them and set clear goals. Then, offer advice and support.
• Team members should be mentored and developed in order to foster a talent pipeline and support their professional development.

DevOps Strategy and Implementation:

• Create and implement a thorough DevOps strategy in line with the aims and objectives of the company.
• Encourage the use of DevOps approaches, tools, and principles to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Work together with departmental stakeholders to make sure DevOps practices are successfully integrated and implemented.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

• To reduce downtime and guarantee company continuity, create and maintain a strong disaster recovery plan that includes backup and recovery plans.
• Oversee the development and implementation of routine evaluations to find any risks and weaknesses and put preventative measures in place to lessen them.
• Plan, organize, and carry out exercises and assessments to confirm the efficacy of disaster recovery protocols.

IT Cybersecurity Preparedness:

• By putting in place and overseeing effective security procedures, you can create and preserve a strong cybersecurity posture.
• Oversee the development of security policies and procedures, the assessment and management of cybersecurity risks, and the observance of relevant regulatory requirements.
• Keep up with the most recent developments in the cybersecurity space and market trends, then take preventative action to guard against them.

Penetration and Vulnerability Testing:

• Ensure that our environments, applications, and infrastructure are regularly subjected to penetration and vulnerability tests.
• Collaborate with both internal and external teams to carry out thorough evaluations, evaluate test findings, and carry out the necessary corrective measures.
• Continually assess and monitor our systems’ security posture in order to find and fix any vulnerabilities.

ISO Certification:

• Establish and maintain the procedures, controls, and records needed for ISO certification—in particular, ISO 27001 for information security management—by working with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the process of getting ready for ISO audits and make sure that all standards and regulations are met.
• Lead efforts for continual improvement to strengthen our ISO certification processes.

Requirements

• Five years minimum of experience as a DevOPs Engineer.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Deep familiarity with Docker, CICD, on-premise Kubernetes cluster setup and maintenance, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in network administration.
• The ability to program in Golang or Python.
• Proficiency in preparing for catastrophe recovery.
• Cybersecurity in IT.
• Testing for penetration.
• Vulnerability handling.
• Extensive familiarity with ISO standards and certification procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as the capacity to set priorities for tasks and make strategic judgments.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• The capacity to work with cross-functional teams in an efficient manner.
