1. Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer

Location: Lagos State, Nigeria

Requirements:

  • Equivalent background in troubleshooting and any of the following: O365, Active Directory, or another cloud-based system.
  • Knowledge of the O365 suite, its surroundings, its capabilities, its plans, its service descriptions, and its features.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop assistance and desktop administration (Windows, Mac).
  • Outstanding familiarity with and at handling Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Team, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Understanding of the principles and best practices on call center techniques.
  • O365 setup: Office Suite installation and activation from beginning to end.
  • Configuring and debugging mail flow.
  • Familiarity with DNS, POP, IMAP, and SMTP.

  • Obtain CompTIA Security+
  • The following role-based certifications are available: Messaging Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Fundamentals, and Azure Administrator Associate. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).

2. Microsoft Platform Analyst

About the Job

This position will oversee the management, upkeep, and optimization of the Microsoft technology stack used by our company.

The Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, Azure, and other relevant technologies are included here, although they are not the only ones.

The chosen applicant will join the Digital and Innovation team, which consists of Data Management Specialists and Digital Architects for Petroleum and Enterprise.

Participate in the creation and execution of an all-encompassing digital architectural framework that is tailored to Microsoft platforms and complies with the particular needs of the company.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Examine the workflows and procedures that are in place on Microsoft platforms to identify areas that could be improved and developed.
  • Participate actively in the creation and implementation of a solid Microsoft platform utilization strategy, encompassing integration, security, QA, and analytics, among other topics. Make sure that Microsoft products are used as best they can to support well-informed decision-making processes.
  • Work together with the IT and Digital Teams to make sure Microsoft platforms are integrated and compatible with both new and old systems and applications.
  • Track and evaluate Microsoft platform performance, security, and usage to find areas that may be optimized and improved.
  • Determine and evaluate new technologies that have the potential to improve our company’s operations and offer suggestions for their adoption.

Requirements:

  • The ideal applicant will have a B.Sc. or HND in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline.
  • Five or more years of solid experience as a Microsoft Platform Analyst or related position.
  • The ability to comprehend Microsoft products, such as the M365 and Azure application suites, was demonstrated.
  • Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft 365 Admin Center management, including security and compliance for Exchange online services, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure, and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with administrative PowerShell programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and capacity to troubleshoot technological issues autonomously.
