The Renaissance African Energy Company (Renaissance) is currently offering the NNPC Undergraduate Scholarship to deserving Nigerian students. The Scholarship is a yearly grant for undergraduate students in Nigerian Universities.

Applications for the NNPC/RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship are being accepted from appropriately eligible Nigerian students by the Renaissance African Energy Company (Renaissance), which operates the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV).
The fellowship aims to enhance the abilities of young Nigerians and promote academic excellence. For the length of their undergraduate degree program, successful applicants receive an annual grant.

Requirements for NNPC Undergraduate Scholarship
There are two categories for this merit-based scholarship: the Areas of Operation Merit Award and the National Merit Award (NM).
1. All Nigerians are eligible for the National Merit Award (NM).
2. Nigerians who are native to Renaissance’s operations regions in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States are eligible to apply for the Operation Merit Award.
3. Must be Federal Republic of Nigeria citizens.
4. Must be enrolled full-time as undergraduates in a Nigerian university with accreditation.
5. The proctored computer-based test will only be open to those who have been shortlisted.
6. Must not have received another scholarship from a national or international organization involved in the oil and gas industry.
7. Proof of enrollment in a 200-level course and admission to an undergraduate program for the 2023–2024 school year.
Selection Process
1. Only those who pass each round of the selection process will be notified.
2. Only applications submitted via the Renaissance African Energy Company website may be processed.

1. Make sure you have scanned copies of the following documents that are clear before uploading them.
2. A 450 by 450 px passport photo with a white background that is no older than three months.
3. University or JAMB (UTME or D/E) or school ID card.
4. Admission letter, Transcript of JAMB 2023/2024 Result (100 level).
5. State Identification Letter (Providing Proof of Local Government of Origin).

3. Scan copies of identity documents, fully stamped and signed by the community’s paramount ruler and the chairperson of the Community Development Committee or Community Executive Council (CDC or CEC), are needed by applicants for the Operational Area Awards.

5. How Much is the NNPC Undergraduate Scholarship?
Qualified undergraduate students at Federal and State Universities in Nigeria are presently eligible to apply for the 2025–2026 NNPC/SEPLAT Undergraduate Scholarship.
Winners of the NNPC/SEPLAT Scholarship 2025 will get 200,000 Naira per year to support their educational expenses.
