General Requirements as a Graduate Trainee

2. LEAD, ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

Proffer solutions to problems using engineering argument/judgement.
Supervise electrical & Instrumentation Projects.
Prepare valuation certificate for on-going or completed Projects.
Monitor and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems and evaluate each systems reliability.
Prepare technical specifications/bid document, provide project cost estimates in line with budget provision.
Implement schedule of electrical and instrumentation plant equipment monitoring.
Ensure Implementation of new/revised strategic policies, plant monitoring procedures and HSE compliance.
Participate in electrical and instrumentation equipment troubleshooting and testing.
Participate in specification development, testing and commissioning of rehab/new electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Evaluate proposals, identify areas of improvement in electrical and instrumentation plant facilities.
Provide timely and accurate reports on the activities of the unit to Deputy Manager Engineering Management.

Educational Qualification

First degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Ensures uptime of Laboratory equipment related to Environmental services to reduce outsourcing in the short term and eliminate same on the long term.

Ensures cost efficient and timely delivery of ESIA, ECM, EDM, EBSA, Air Quality Pollution control, JIV Services for clients.

5.LEAD, IT ASSET MANAGEMENT & SERVICE SUPPORT

Key Responsibilities

Respond to incoming queries and issues related to computer systems based on the Help Desk policy.
Provide and communicate workarounds to customer and NUIMS team.
Provide feedback to user and close issues upon successful resolution of issue.
Respond to reported NUIMS incidents and service requests.
Register and update the client data in the system.
Run diagnostic clean-up of programs to resolve problems.
Solve problems related to user access to NUIMS system.
Identify service requests raised by users.
Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
Train computer users, log, categorize and prioritize issues, incidents and service requests.
Negotiate request with requesting users and identified responsible persons.

Provide full hardware support to the business functions of NUIMS that includes installation, helpdesk, training and maintenance of hardware system, consolidating and optimizing the NUIMS support services.

6. COMMERCIAL LAW/ LITIGATION SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities

Negotiate and ensure drafting of Gas Sale Agreements, Gas Sale and Purchase Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, and all other NGML commercial agreements.
Review all drafted Agreements to ensure that NGML interests are adequately covered.
Ensure efficient and effective Commercial Contracts Administration/Management.
Manage all litigations and contingent liabilities arising from NGML business activities.
Advise on the litigation risks of possible business decisions.
Provide preventive counseling with respect to legal risks associated with business practices and legal advice on litigation.
Manage alternative dispute resolution processes like Arbitration, mediation, conciliation, etc.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree qualification in Law. Barrister at Law (BL) qualification is a must. Call to Bar is a must.
Master’s in Law or any other relevant post-graduate degree or professional qualification is an added advantage.
