Schwarzman Scholarship Program (2025)
Applications for the 2025 Schwarzman Scholarship Program are now being accepted from international students wishing to pursue graduate work in China. It is a fully financed fellowship that covers tuition, airfare, lodging, and stipends for eligible students worldwide.
The Schwarzman Scholarship Program
The Schwarzman Scholarship provides complete funding for a one-year master’s degree at Beijing’s Tsinghua University.
The scholarship program aims to create a global community of future leaders that will represent the diversity, vitality, and potential of the entire world in their roles as global leaders.
Schwarzman Scholars are open to understanding other people’s perspectives, cultures, and attitudes. the candidates most qualified to meet the rigorous standards of the program.
Up to 200 Scholars from the United States, China, and other countries are supported by the Schwarzman Scholars Program each year to pursue a one-year master’s degree in global affairs at Beijing’s Tsinghua University, which is regarded as the top Asian university and the vital foundation for China’s leadership in politics, commerce, and technology.
With the support of one another and their variety, young leaders from all over the world work together to achieve a common objective as part of the Schwarzman Scholars Program.
The Schwarzman Scholarship is not awarded based on any of the following: race, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, national or ethnic origin, political views, veteran status, or handicap not directly connected to requirements for employment or education.

Requirements for the Schwarzman Scholars Program
Applicants for the Schwarzman Scholarship are required to fulfill the following requirements:
1. A bachelor’s degree is required.
2. Age requirement: 18–28 years old
3. English language proficiency is a must.
4. They must also have exceptional leadership qualities, great intellectual capability, excellent character, and the aptitude to recognize and respond to environmental trends and changes.
Required Documents for the Schwarzman Scholarship Program
To apply, candidates need to be ready to provide the following documentation:
- Fill out the online application and include your resume or CV (no more than two pages).
- Three recommendation letters.
- Essays: A 500-word statement of purpose and a 750-word essay on leadership.
- Transcripts of studies.
- A one-minute video self-introduction that is brief.

- After you have completed all the relevant questions, electronically submit your application through the Internet. English must be used to complete the application.
- Make sure you upload all necessary files.
- An international panel of leaders from various backgrounds invites a chosen number of candidates for interviews in late October or early November.
