Eira Davies Scholarship for Masters Students (2024)
Swansea University is currently inviting qualified candidates to participate in the Eira Davies Scholarship which covers a full tuition fee and is partially funded.
The Eira Davies Scholarship
One exceptional female student is typically given a full tuition fee scholarship, known as the Eira Francis Davies Scholarship, each academic year.
The student seeking a postgraduate Master’s program in the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Life Science must be a citizen of an eligible developing country and reside there.

Full tuition is covered by the Eira Francis Davies Scholarship.
Requirements for Eira Davies Scholarship
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
1. Possess a minimum of a 2:1 bachelor’s degree or a comparable degree.
2. Have formally been offered a spot in one of Swansea University’s full-time postgraduate taught Master’s programs, starting in September 2024:
3. Be a woman.
4. Arrive at Swansea University as a freshman in September 2024.
5. Provide evidence of their good academic standing, study budget, and enthusiasm for the subject they have chosen at Swansea University in their application.
6. Possess nationality and be a permanent resident of one of the nations listed as Eira Francis Davies Eligible Countries 2024, which are classified as “low income” or “lower-middle income” as of July 1, 2023, by the World Bank Country and Lending Groups.
7. Not be eligible for any additional financial aid from Swansea University, such as a bursary, scholarship, or reduction in tuition.
8. Not be a student at Swansea University who is advancing from The College.
