Schneider Electric is giving out the Schneider Electric Entrepreneurship Program, an exciting global challenge open to teams of students and young entrepreneurs from all backgrounds. Its mission is to develop an innovative business model that delivers clean and affordable renewable energy solutions.

Schneider Electric, a Fortune Global 500 corporation that is publicly traded on the Euronext Exchange and a part of the Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index, is registered as a Societas Europaea. The corporation reported €38.15 billion in revenue for the fiscal year 2024.

Requirements for the Schneider Electric Program

1. All students and young entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic about using innovation in renewable energy to make a difference are eligible to enter this worldwide competition.

2. 18- to 30-year-old students are currently enrolled.

3. Since English is the competition’s official language, participants must be proficient in it.

4. Teams of no more than four people are required to participate. We support gender parity on every team.

5. A member must be a student in the same nation; however, they may be enrolled in separate courses, different academic years, and different educational institutions.

Entry Guidelines for a Team

However, registration is done individually.  Only teams with a minimum of two individual enrolled students and a maximum of four individual registered students are eligible to enter the contest.

Every member of the team needs to be a student in the same nation.

a) Members of the team do not have to be in the same academic year, study the same subject, or attend the same university.

b) To compete, students do not need to be citizens or permanent residents of the nation in which they are enrolled.

Each participant is only permitted to submit one Initial Application and participate in the contest as a member of a single team.

Although the challenge is available to anybody worldwide, competitors should be fluent in English because it will be the official language.

The top three winning teams at the end of the last round will receive a prize that will be divided equally among all team members, provided that they fulfill all competition-related rules and duties.

The following will be the distribution of a €10,000 cash prize pool:

A Solar Family Home Kit, sponsored by Access to Energy, will also be given to the winners.

A thorough marketing campaign aimed at boosting the winners’ exposure and personal brand will also be used to celebrate and elevate the winners.
