Key Responsibilities 

• Offer first-class customer service, resolve technical issues and walk them through the process of repayment.
• Track and recover overdue payments from customers, including follow-up calls, emails, or messages to customers for outstanding debts.

• Keep detailed records of the communications, payments, and outstanding debts so that the company will always be aware of what has transpired in each case.
• Collaborate with other teams, which include but are not limited to finance, legal, and customer service, for efficiency in debt recovery. 
• Report regularly to your managers on unpaid accounts, collection efforts, and troublesome cases that may need further escalation.

Requirements

• Academic background in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Proven work experience in debt collection, credit control, or a related field will be of great benefit. Any prior working experience within the fintech or financial services industry is desirable.
• Must be a strong communicator-verbal and written-to engage customers and conduct negotiation on payments effectively.
• Attention to detail: required to keep accurate and detailed records since omission of any record may cause complications during the process. 
• Expected to have relevant experience regarding competence in mobile payment platforms and CRM software.
• The need to be persistent and patient to deal with customers who may not be willing to corporate.
